Madison Higley pitched a pair of two-hitters, striking out 10 in both games in the Collinsville Festival on Friday as Fort Gibson won 11-0 over Prague in four innings and 6-0 over Meeker in a game that went the full seven.
Higley is now 6-1, the Lady Tigers are 6-2 going into a pair of games today, Collinsville at 10 a.m. followed by Bishop McGuinness at 11:30.
Emily Rigsby was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and Sage Stout and Miranda Cherry were 2-for-3 with two RBIs against Prague. No Lady Tiger had more than one hit in the second game with Sydney Murray driving in a pair of runs in the second inning and Stout and Mackenzie Williams driving in runs as part of a four-run fourth.
