WARNER – Connors State coach and athletic director Bill Muse announced the 2012-13 men’s basketball schedule on Monday.
The Cowboys’ schedule includes 10 non-conference games and 19 Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference games.
Connors opens the season on Nov. 5 at Melvin Self Field House in Warner against Southwestern Christian. The Cowboy Classic follows on Nov. 9 and 10. The Cowboys then open OCAC action on Nov. 19 with a home game against Murray State.
The NJCAA has expanded its national tournament from 16 to 24 teams and Region II has been selected for an automatic qualifying berth as in the past and an at-large berth this season, thus two members from the region will advance to the national tournament.
