TAHLEQUAH — A court date has been set next month for Oklahoma State defensive tackle Christian Littlehead on a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.
Littlehead’s initial appearance in Cherokee County District Court was scheduled Friday for Sept. 24 and a warrant for Littlehead’s arrest was recalled.
Prosecutors allege that Littlehead punched a woman in the face after a dispute at a beer pong game at a birthday party in March. The woman claims she scraped her knees and cut her hand.
The 6-foot-2, 312-pound Littlehead played in 12 games last season and started four times for the Cowboys.
