Rainouts
Only two area games reportedly were played in fastpitch softball on Tuesday as the remainder were rained out. Baseball games involving Oktaha and Braggs were also rained out.
Softball
PORTER 14, HENRYETTA WILSON 12 — Jerika Stallings drove in four runs with two hits, while Syndee Boyd drove in three more as the Lady Pirates (5-14) took the victory at home. Tanisha Carmichael (5-14) was the winning pitcher.
Porter plays at the Morris Tournament at 9:30 a.m. Thursday against Morris.
SEQUOYAH 10. WAGONER 0 — Sequoyah (18-7) got a complete-game shutout from Saharra Henson, who also hit two home runs and drove in three RBIs. The Lady Indians play at Muskogee today.
Volleyball
OKAY 3, CHOUTEAU 0 — The Okay Lady Mustangs, ranked No. 12 in the Okrankings.com Class 4A coaches poll, swept Chouteau 25-14, 25-10, and 25-16 to improve their winning streak to 10 games.
Brooke Long had six aces and 19 set assists and Bristen Graves had eight kills for the Lady Mustangs.
Okay (16-2) plays at 10:30 a.m. Friday against Cleveland in the Cleveland tournament.
SEQUOYAH 3, INOLA 0 — The Sequoyah Lady Indians swept past the Inola Longhorns 25-14, 25-16, and 25-17 at the Sequoyah Event Center.
Skye Norwood led Sequoyah with six aces, five kills and one block. Anaweg Smith had three sces, five kills, and one block also for the Lady Indians.
Sequoyah (10-8) plays at 5 p.m. Monday at Salina.
CLAREMORE 3, TAHLEQUAH 1 — The Tahlequah Lady Tigers couldn’t overcome the Claremore Lady Zebras on the road, losing in four sets. Claremore won the first two sets 25-18 and 25-16 before the Lady Tigers won the third set 27-25. The Lady Zebras won the final set 25-23.
Morgan Anderson led Tahlequah with seven kills and three blocks. Brandy Rose had four digs.
Tahlequah (3-5) plays at 6 p.m. Thursday against Coweta.
