PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The Northeastern State men’s golf team placed 11th at the Guy Harvey Invitational Tuesday, which was being held on the par-72, 6,868-yard PGA National-The Champions Course.
The RiverHawks posted a three-round total of 41-over 905 (303-300-302) and were led by sophomore Josh Strimple’s 27th-place finish at six-over 222 (72-71-79)
Senior Kyle Fouts (77-74-72=223) finished a stroke behind Strimple to tie for 28th, while junior Zach Tucker (81-74-79=234) and redshirt freshman Brent Williamson (77-85-72=234) tied for 62nd.
Senior Jacob Bartel rounded out the team score, tying for 65th at 237 (77-81-79).
