PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The Northeastern State women’s golf team is in 12th place after Monday’s first round of the Guy Harvey Invitational at the 6,163-yard par 72 PGA National Palmer Course.
The RiverHawks posted a team score of 324 and were led by senior Whitney McAteer’s 5-over-par 77. She is tied for 19th in the individual standings.
Freshman McCandren Lewis is in a tie for 29th after shooting 79, while senior Kelsey Kirkpatrick posted an 81 (T-41) and freshman Kirsten Degutis shot 87 (T-68). Sophomore Alex Koch also carded an 88.
The final round begins at 7:30 a.m. today.
