ARKANSAS 73, KENTUCKY 60 – Junior Coty Clarke recorded his first career double-double to lead Arkansas to its biggest win over the Kentucky Wildcats at Bud Walton Arena with a 13-point victory on Saturday in Fayetteville, Ark.

Clarke’s double-double along with 30 Razorback points off turnovers and 20 offensive rebounds allowed Arkansas (18-11, 9-7 SEC) to take down Kentucky (20-9, 11-5 SEC) for the second consecutive time at Bud Walton Arena.

Clarke recorded 14-points, a game-high 12 rebounds and a game-high six assists in Arkansas’ win over the Wildcats. A total of three Razorbacks finished the game in double-digits with B.J. Young contributing 13 points and Marshawn Powell with 15.

TULSA 78, TULANE 66 – After trailing by 43-23 at half, Tulsa stormed back, outscoring Tulane 55-23 in the second stanza to defeat the Green Wave on Saturday in Tulsa.

The Golden Hurricane (15-13, 7-7 Conference USA) moved into sixth place in the Conference USA standings. Tulsa’s 55 second-half points were the most in a half against a Division I opponent this season. The last time TU overcame a double-digit deficit was at Oral Roberts earlier this season when they defeated the Golden Eagles 72-68 on Dec. 22.

Leading the Tulsa charge was Scottie Haralson, who tallied 16 points, 13 of them coming in the second half, including a 5-of-5 shooting from the  free-throw line. Pat Swilling Jr. recorded 14 points while James Woodard collected 12 points and a game-high eight rebounds and Rashad Ray added 10.

ORU 68, LAMAR 50 – Korey Billbury had a career night with his first double-double in an ORU uniform as the freshman paced Oral Roberts in a road-victory over Lamar on Saturday in Beaumont, Texas.

ORU moved to 18-12 (13-4 Southland) with the victory while Lamar fell to 3-26 (1-16 Southland) with the senior-night defeat.

Damen Bell-Holter had his eighth consecutive double-double in Southland play with 10 points and 13 rebounds but was overshadowed by the career high in points (17) and rebounds (13) from Billbury. Shawn Glover led all scorers with 19 points while Warren Niles chipped in 17.

The Golden Eagles shot 43.6 percent (24-55) from the field and hit five of eight attempts from three after hitting just one of eight attempts in the first half.

Lamar was led by Donley Minor’s 15 points and Stan Brown’s 13 points and nine rebounds as the cardinals shot 36 percent (20-55) for the game, well short of the 50 percent they poured in during the first meeting.



Women

ORU 62, LAMAR 55 — The Golden Eagles buckled down late and powered through a spirited Lamar comeback effort to down the Lady Cardinals on Saturday afternoon at the Montagne Center. The win gives ORU (15-12, 12-5 Southland Conference) a season sweep over Lamar (19-8, 11-5 SLC).
