IRVING, Texas — For the second time this season and ninth in her career, Oklahoma State’s Andrea Riley was named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week by a media voting panel for games played from Nov. 23-29.
In OSU’s two games at the Junkanoo Jam on Grand Bahama Island this past weekend, Riley averaged 30.5 points, 7.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds to earn all-tournament recognition.
Riley scored 17 points, had six assists and four rebounds in the Cowgirls’ win over Marist this past Friday. The Dallas, Texas native scored more than 40 points for the second time in her OSU career with 44. She also had eight assists in the 93-90 double overtime loss to Michigan State in the finals on Saturday. Riley’s points was a single-game tournament record, breaking the previous mark of 41 by Kansas State’s Kendra Wecker.
