COLUMBIA, Mo. — Oklahoma State wrestlers Quinten Fuentes and Chris Perry highlighted the Cowboys’ showing at the Missouri Open on Sunday, with both claiming weight class championships at the event. Fuentes was particularly dominant, pinning each of his five opponents at 149 pounds. Perry secured bonus points in two of his three wins at 184 pounds.
Also impressive for the Pokes was Jon Morrison, who took third at 125 pounds.
Coach John Smith did not send any of his starters to the event. OSU returns to action when it travels to Norman for a Bedlam Series clash with Oklahoma on Dec. 1.
