Tahlequah's Sarah Nelson was the lone area player chosen to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State volleyball teams, announced Thursday.
The 5-foot-10 Nelson, who this week was also named the All-Phoenix Most Valuable Player, was named to the Small School East team and will play in the games set for Tuesday, July 27 at a location to be determined. She averaged 10 kills and five blocks for a team that made it to the 5A quarterfinals.
