Muskogee's Madison Reed and three other area players were named Monday to the 2009 Oklahoma Fastpitch Coaches Association All-State teams.
Reed, a catcher who hit .415 with 34 stolen bases, seven doubles and 34 runs scored, is on the Large School East team. Joining her as all-state selections are Sequoyah pitcher Cortney Glass, outfielder Nikki Lewis and Fort Gibson pitcher Taylor Mills.
Glass was 23-6 for the Lady Indians, while striking out 151 batters and compiling an earned run average of 0.74. She also had 10 shutouts and two no-hitters. She also hit .404 with 34 RBIs and a home run. Lewis hit .475 with 19 RBIs, 34 stolen bases and a homer.
Mills was 16-5 in pitching for the Lady Tigers with 198 strikeouts and an ERA of 0.60. She also hit .330 with a double and nine RBIs.
The games will be played June 12 at the University of Oklahoma of Norman.
