Muskogee High School�s boys basketball program ended last season with its first state tournament berth in a decade. This season, at least one preseason publication thinks it�ll improve on that.
Oklahoma Basketball Preview published by VYPE High School Sports Magazine has Muskogee ranked No. 2 in Class 6A in its preseason poll, behind defending champion Putnam CIty, but picks the Roughers to win the Class 6A gold ball.
Muskogee�s senior post player Oren Faulk is one of four state players on the magazine�s cover. Inside is a feature on the Fort Gibson girls as well.
The publication went on sale Sunday in various area stores.
