Big 12 kudos to OU pitcher
Oklahoma softball pitcher Michelle Gasciogne was named on Tuesday as Big 12 Softball Pitcher of the Week. Appearing in four of the five games, Gascoigne posted a 3-0 record and gave up just one earned run in 18.2 innings for a 0.38 ERA.
TU, Sooners in softball polls
The Tulsa softball team entered the national polls at No. 24 in both the USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 and the ESPN.com/ USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll released Tuesday. It’s the highest they’ve ever been in the ESPN poll.
Oklahoma is No. 1 in both with Alabama second.
