FORT WORTH, Texas – The Bacone Warriors fell short 65-61 to the Texas Wesleyan Rams Monday night.
For the game Bacone hit 39 percent (24 of 61) while hitting six of 15 three-pointers; the Rams knocked down 40 percent (23 of 58) and six of 25 from three-point range.
Derrick Thomas paced the Warriors with 20 points while Tamarcus Miles added 10 points and 10 boards and Irving Levine added 10 points.
On the women’s side the Lady Warriors three-game winning streak came to halt with a 78-69 to the Lady Rams Monday night.
Myriah Hadnot led Bacone with 17 points and eight rebounds, Danielle Reed added 12 and Emily Lovell finished with 11 points.
