OKLAHOMA CITY – Three Rivers, the Wagoner-based American Legion baseball, wouldn’t mind if it didn’t see Edmond Sandlot ever again. The local team lost twice to Edmond, including the 9-8 loss on Saturday in the Seniors State Tournament at Jim Wade Stadium.
Despite three runs scored by Wagoner’s Justin Ferrrell and three hits by Hilldale’s Hunter Harrison, Three Rivers fell when Edmond scored twice in the bottom of the ninth inning to rally from the 8-7 deficit for the victory.
Haskell’s Jordan Pendergraft, Muskogee’s Trey Gatzman and Ferrell each had two hits. Earlier in the tournament, Edmond beat Three Rivers 6-1.
