Jennifer Clark, a forward for the Northeastern State University’s women’s soccer team, was named the MIAA women’s soccer Athlete of the Week for the ninth week of the season.
Clark recorded at least one point in every match as the RiverHawks picked up three victories last week. She scored the game winning goal in their first match of the week against Ouachita Baptist. She scored the first goal and then picked up an assist on NSU's other goal in their win over Emporia State.
She completed her weekend by picking up an assist on the game winning goal against Washburn to help the RiverHawks leapfrog NWMSU and earn the No. 4 seed in the MIAA Tournament. The 5-2 junior forward is a native of Allen, Texas, where she competed at Allen High School.
