Muskogee’s Micah Smith, Tahlequah’s Matt Qualls and Keys’ Jake Duvall earned spots on the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State Boys Basketball Teams and will play this summer in the All-State Games.
Sequoyah coach Larry Grigg will be the head coach for the Small School Boys East Team in the July 30 at Oral Roberts University’s Mabee Center. The small school game is 7 p.m. and the large school game is 8:30 p.m.
Smith, a 6-foot-1 guard who averaged 14.7 points per game, and the 6-7 forward Qualls (23.1 ppg) will play in the Large School game, while the 6-7 Duvall (16.8 ppg) will play in the Small School Game.
Smith was also named to the All-Frontier Conference first team this week, as was junior teammate Oren Faulk. Sophomore Devante Wilson was a third-team selection.
