OKTAHA — Three drivers picked up their first career wins on opening night Friday night at Outlaw Motor Speedway and two others left off where they finished the 2008 season.
The Muskogee pair of Justin Sellars and Colten Dunlap hauled in their first career wins in the Cherokee Casino Pure Stocks and the Full Throttle Hobby Stocks respectively. Sellars held off Tahlequah's Jason Ward and Muskogee's Michael Bantaa.
Dunlap on the other hand stayed ahead of Collinsville's Brain Parker for the win.
Bixby's Greg Skaggs picked up career win number 27 in the Shinook USRA Modifieds while holding off Muskogee's Justin Fulton and Chouteau's Randy Frailey.
Ronnie Plamer took home the Creek Nation Front Wheel Drive A-Feature win for the newest class at the 3/8th mile.
Defending 360 Modified champion, Muskogee's Dennis Slader outran Martin Hemphill for his fifth career win at Outlaw Motor Speedway.
