Derrick Roland had three hits and drove in five runs while slugging a three-run home run in the second game of a doubleheader at Warrior Field Tuesday. Bacone is now 4-3 for the season after beating Hillsdale Baptist 12-2 and 13-1.
Logan Sansoni had three hits and drove in three runs, while Brandon Debo also had three hits and drove in a pair. Kevin Castillo hit a two-run home run and drove in four runs for the day.
Anthony Ruiz (1-1) struck out eight batters and scattered five hits to pick up the first-game win and Tyler Keel (1-0) struck out five in the second game.
Bacone plays a single game at home Friday at 2 p.m. against Graceland (Iowa) University and then two more against Graceland on Saturday at noon.
