Taylor Lewis , a 5-8 guard from Broken Arrow, has signed to play basketball next season for Northeastern State,. coach Randy Gipson said Tuesday.
Lewis averaged 16 points and 6.5 rebounds for the Lady Tigers last season.
“It’s a great pickup for us and it continues a trend we’ve established at being successful in recruiting good players in our own area,” Gipson said. “We’re definitely pleased with getting her and doing so in the early signing period.”
NSU is 0-2 after a 75-65 loss to Drury on Monday. The RiverHawks return to Tahlequah on Thursday to play St. Mary’s in a 6 p.m. contest.
