Griffin, Paris grace this week’s SI cover



NORMAN (AP) — University of Oklahoma basketball players Blake Griffin and Courtney Paris will share the cover of this week’s issue of Sports Illustrated.

Griffin and Paris are one of six male and female pairs being featured on regional covers of the magazine’s college basketball preview issue that goes on sale Wednesday.

Both Griffin and Paris are preseason Associated Press All-Americans and both the men’s and women’s teams were voted by league coaches as the preseason choice to win the Big 12 Conference title.

The photo shows Griffin with a basketball and dressed in a white OU uniform being guarded by Paris who is dressed in a crimson uniform.
