QUINTON 3, WARNER 1 — Warner’s Sara Smithson went 2-for-2 with a double, a triple and a run scored, but unfortunately for the Lady Eagles, that run accounted for all of their scoring in a loss to Quinton in the Keota tournament.
Jori McPeak, who finished 1-for-2, knocked in Smithson. Kenna McCoy had Warner’s only other hit.
Sophomore Macy Carmen pitched a complete game, striking out seven in five innings.
Warner takes the field again today against the loser of Stigler versus Porum.
