Connors State 7, ARKANSAS-FORT SMITH 5 — Kyle Fillier homered with one out in the bottom of the 10 inning to give Connors a 7-5 victory over Arkansas-Fort Smith in college baseball.
Brett Coffman reached base on a fielder’s choice and scored on Fillier’s homer to right center field.
Connors improved to 24-9 after claiming a seasaw battle at Warner.
Connors led 1-0 in the first inning after Kyle Degrace hit an RBI double to score Brandon Smith. Michael Zurmehly had two hits and Degrace had three RBI.
Garret Graziano won his third decision against one loss.
KANSAS STATE 4, OKLAHOMA STATE 0 — Lance Hoge pitched a three-hit, complete-game shutout Sunday as host Kansas State beat Oklahoma State 4-0.
Nate Tenbrink led the Wildcats (13-12, 2-4 Big 12) with a pair solo home runs, and Jordan Cruz hit a double to drive in Kansas State’s other two runs.
Hoge, 1-1, gave up two singles and a double. He also struck out five and walked none for his first win.
Louis Flores had a single and double for Oklahoma State (18-8, 4-5).
Baylor 7, OU 3 — The OU baseball team suffered a loss in the series finale against No. 20 Baylor. The Sooners (20-8-1 overall and 2-3-1 in Big 12 play) were unable to complete the series sweep of the Bears (16-9, 3-6) after claiming victories in games one and two.
