TAHLEQUAH — Tyler Johnson hit a two-run homer in the seventh inning and teammate Robbin Morris added a two-run blast in the eighth as Southeastern Oklahoma State downed Northeastern 6-4 in college baseball.
NSU’s Joel Eusebio put the RiverHawks ahead 4-2 with a solo homer in the fifth, before SE Oklahoma rallied for the final four runs of the game.
Reliever Randall Clay, who pitched two perfect innings to claim the victory, hit solo homer for SE Oklahoma (7-9, 6-6 in the Lone Star Conference).
NSU dropped to 7-9, 3-5 in the conference.
NSU left 12 baserunners stranded. Eusebio was 2 for 4 and Scott Sittel was 3 for 5.
