Muskogee area viewers who want to see the Dallas-Green Bay game on Thursday better run out and grab a Dish Network or DirecTV satellite package, find a friend who does, or drive to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. NFL Network is not available on Suddenlink Communications, the major cable provider in the area, and the only free TV broadcast will be to the respective teams’ home markets.
Thanks to a feud between the NFL Network and the big cable companies, football fans will feel the impact of the wrangling like never before when two teams with 10-1 records and huge national appeal face off Thursday night on a channel available in fewer than 40 percent of the country’s households.
