KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Northeastern State’s Jordan Ladbrooke has been named the MIAA Men’s Soccer Player of the Week, the league announced today.
The senior goalkeeper from Ellesmere Port, England, did not concede a goal in 157 minutes of action this past weekend, as No. 20-ranked NSU (2-0) opened the season with two shutout victories on the road over both the University of Missouri-St. Louis (2-0) and Maryville University (1-0).
This marks the first MIAA men’s soccer player of the week award in 14 years as the league had not sponsored the sport since 1998.
