Oktaha golfer wins WOGA title
Kailey Campbell of Oktaha High School defeated Aly Seng of Enid 5 and 4 to capture the President’s flight at the 94th Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association State Amateur championship on Thursday at Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City.
Campbell reached the championship match on Wednesday by winning over Muskogee High School’s Catrina Pearson in 19 holes while Seng, a junior at Central Oklahoma, ousted Ann Cowan 6 and 4.
CSC players sign NLIs
WARNER – Nine Connors State College baseball players have signed national letters of intent to continue their playing careers on the collegiate level.
Signing are pitcher Devan Rinehart from Gore with Mid-American Christian University, catcher Chris Tavares with University of Texas-San Antonio, pitcher/infielder Jared Graham with Rogers State University, infielders Braden Cook and Jacob Barton with Southwestern Oklahoma State, outfielder Ryan Clarke and pitchers Chris Romano and Jordan Morales with Missouri Baptist University and pitcher Kylar Trumbla with Central Oklahoma.
