Vian offensive lineman Rob Boyd on Saturday committed to play football at the University of Tulsa. Boyd, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound junior, announced the decision on his Facebook page. He was an All-Phoenix selection this past season for the Class 2A quarterfinalists who were eliminated by eventual state champ Hennessey.
