HILLDALE 53, GROVE 51 — Despite shooting 10-for-19 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter the Hornets (11-7, 7-4) were able to pull out the road win. Grove started the game by slowing the tempo and pounding the ball inside. Hilldale was down 19-16 at halftime as a result.
Hunter Harrison scored 17 for the Hornets. Dylan Rowan finished with 12 and Tony Cabrera added 10.
GORE 43, OKAY 36 — The Mustangs (9-8, 2-3) played Gore fairly even in the first half, trailing by only two baskets at the break, 21-17. In the second half the Pirates, winners of nine of the last ten and ranked No. 13 in Okrankings.com Class 2A coaches poll, used sharp shooting to widen the margin.
Jake Johnson and Trey Slate led Gore (16-3, 5-2) with 14 points each. Dalton Sarnie paced Okay with 13.
EUFAULA 48, OKMULGEE 44 — The Ironheads (6-10, 4-3) got a hard fought win in the defensive battle. Eufaula found themselves down early and tied at halftime but they used hard-nosed defense and clutch free-throws to secure the victory. Jeffrey McIntosh led the Ironheads with 18 points.
VIAN 50, SALLISAW CENTRAL 45 — The Wolverines (7-9, 5-1) used a balanced scoring attack to get by Central. Vian led 17-13 at the break.
Shane Ross finished with 13 points and Eric Casey added 11. Rob Boyd contributed a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
BRAGGS 63, WEBBERS FALLS 57 — The Warriors came close but finally fell to Braggs (12-9) at home. The Wildcats were led in scoring by sibling Corey and Aaron York; they both finished with 15.
PORTER 52, PORUM 33 — The Pirates (14-5, 6-0) took the lead early and the game was never in question as they took a 29-12 halftime lead. Jacob Richardson paced Porter with 20 points. Chad Coppin scored 10 for Porum (8-10, 2-3).
HULBERT 74, WARNER 68, OT — Hulbert (4-15, 1-7) outscored Warner 11-5, hitting on its first three possessions of the extra period.
Chris Vance had a game-high 26 and Craig Potts had 18. Warner had all five starters in double figures — Kyle Taylor had 17, Tim Smithson 16, Dustin Lee 12, Cody Medlin had 11 and Grey Denton had 10.
Warner (9-9, 2-5) forced overtime at 63-all on a 3-pointer with six seconds left by Cody Medlin.
KELLYVILLE 71, CHECOTAH 50 — Checotah (2-17) kept it close in the first half, trailing 25-31 at the break. Kellyville came out in a box-and-one defense in the second half focusing on the Wildcats top scorer, Braylon Warrior, who finished with nine points.
BEGGS 62, HASKELL 54 — After holding a 33-31 halftime advantage, the Haymakers (10-7, 4-3) got outscored 17-7 in the third to fall behind and never recover.
Haskell was led in scoring by Alex Wheeland’s 13 points and Dalton Cefalone’s 10.
POCOLA 67, STIGLER 57 — The Panthers (6-9, 2-4) got off to a slow start and were trailing at halftime, 47-34. Ryan Echelle led Stigler with 15 points and Seth Sandlin added 13.
MIDWAY 75, HANNA 55 — The Chargers (5-13, 0-5) took a 38-27 halftime lead and never looked back behind a big performance from Kenny McHenry, who had 26 points. Chance Lawrence added 16.
TAHLEQUAH 48, PRYOR 28 — Tahlequah's defense put the clamps on and Courtland Glock led Tahlequah with 10 points while three others scored seven or more.
Tahlequah (10-7) trailed 9-8 after one quarter before owning a 19-14 edge at halftime. THS proceeded to dominate Pryor in the second half, outscoring Pryor 29-14 in the final 16 minutes.
Pryor dropped to 8-8.
WAGONER 54, MIAMI 32 — The Bulldogs (11-7, 8-3) forced Miami (3-14) into 25 turnovers and held them to just five first half points.
Roy Thomas had a double-double for Wagoner with 12 points and 10 rebounds
Girls basketball
GROVE 55, HILLDALE 20 — The Lady Hornets (5-14, 1-9) were just outclassed in this one, falling behind early and they could never recover. Jessica Vanschuyver scored eight points for Hilldale.
HULBERT 57, WARNER 30 — The Lady Riders (13-6, 7-1) dispatched Warner and improved their win streak to six games. Allison Arnall supplied 12 points and also recorded seven steals for Hulbert.
The Lady Eagles (7-11, 2-5) got 13 points from Raven Girty but it just wasn’t enough.
EUFAULA 70, OKMULGEE 49 — The Lady Ironheads (13-3, 7-0) used pressure defense to take a 34-25 halftime lead.
Eufaula was led in scoring by point guard Cheyanna Jones’ 19 points. Alyssa Banks added 17 and Janet Hill finished with 10. The Lady Ironheads have won four straight.
PORUM 45, PORTER 12 — The Lady Panthers (8-10) got off to a fast start to keep Porter (0-17) winless after a 13-6 first quarter.
Porum was led in scoring by freshman Kori Lindsey’s 13 points. The Lady Pirates’ Chelsie Holt led them in scoring with six.
STIGLER 50, POCOLA 28 — The Lady Panthers (7-10, 4-2) got off to a hot start and never looked back, snapping their six-game losing streak. Stigler played like they were on a mission and took a 31-10 at the break.
Nina Echelle and Halie Turrentine led the Lady Panthers with 13 points each.
TAHLEQUAH 59, PRYOR 33 — Tahlequah (12-4, 6-1) got a nice bounce-back win after dropping a tough one against Fort Gibson on Saturday. They did so using a balanced scoring effort. The Lady Tigers led 26-18 at halftime.
Casey Beaston paced Tahlequah with 13 points. Alissa Hadley and Marissa Girdner both chipped in 11.
OKAY 43, GORE 23 — Okay (12-6, 3-3) played smothering defense on their way to a 24-8 halftime advantage.
Courtney Smith finished the night with 17 points and Bristen Graves added 10 for the Lady Mustangs.
BRAGGS 55, WEBBERS FALLS 39 — The Lady Warriors (4-14,2-8) dropped the home game after falling behind early.
Brooke Chappell had 15 and Rachal Humphrey tallied 10 for Webbers Falls.
Braggs was led in scoring by Hanna Mackey’s 14 points.
BEGGS 59, HASKELL 40 — Haskell rallied from an 18-7 first-quarter deficit to draw to 24-22 at the half but was hurt by Beggs’ inside height and its own 10-of-25 free-throw shooting. Ta’shay Love had 13 for the Lady Haymakers and Nikki Bolding had 12. Haskell fell to 4-14.
MIAMI 35, WAGONER 28 — Wagoner (4-13, 3-8) scored the first seven points and led 11-10 at the break. Miami (5-12) took the lead back with seven minutes to go and never looked back.
Arlandria Freeman and Falicia Garrison paced the Lady Bulldogs with nine points each.
KELLYVILLE 69, CHECOTAH 34 — No other info was reported.

FORT GIBSON 39, POTEAU 27 — For Fort Gibson, Nick Bailey (195 pounds), Logan Wood (160), and Zach Peterson (145) all won by pin and Cole Watson (120) Tanner Enger (152) James Clowers (170) Colby Woodruff (182) and Andrew Brestel at heavyweight all won by points. Josh Nunez (106) and Tony Dye (126) won by forfeit.
