Stigler Public Schools will be closed today. A memorial/funeral service will be held for Stigler High School football player Gordon Parsons at 10 a.m. in the high school gymnasium.
Parsons’ death Friday has been ruled a suicide, according to the Oklahoma Medical Examiners Office.
