STILLWATER (AP) — Oklahoma State will play in the preseason Women’s NIT this season, beginning with a rematch against an Arkansas-Little Rock team that defeated the Cowgirls last season.
The Cowgirls announced Tuesday that they will host the Trojans on Nov. 13 in Stillwater. Arkansas-Little Rock returns all five starters from its team that beat Oklahoma State 65-51 last season in Little Rock.
The winner of that game will advance to face either Georgia Tech or Winthrop.
The 16-team field also includes Ohio State, West Virginia, Bowling Green and Marist.
