Linebacker Erik Howell was a triple award winner, grabbing three honors including two of the top honors given as Muskogee High School’s postseason football banquet was held at Bedouin Shrine Temple on Wednesday night.
Howell received the Ultimate Rougher Award from the coaching staff. He was also selected as the 6A-3 Player of the Year by the district’s coaches, as that list was revealed Wednesday. Howell also received honors as the Defensive Player of the Year on the team.

Academic All Conference: for GPAs 3.5 or better, Baker, Klain Brossett, Flusche, Ryan Lester, Jamison Moore.
Defensive Player of the Year — Howell, Jordan Brown.
Offensive Player of the Year — Archie Bradley.
Special Teams Player of the Year — Matt Bishop.
Offensive Lineman of the Year — Flusche.
Defensive Lineman of the Year — Robert Thomas.
Iron Man Award — Scott.
“Unbreakable” Award — Lester, Nico Cubit.
Impact Offensive Player — Allen Starks.
Impact Defensive Player — Matt Messer.
Most Improved Offensive Player — Angelo Shipp.
Most Improved Defensive Player — Michael Stanford.
Offensive Hitman of the Year — Jeremy Burton.
Defensive Hitman of the Year— Eddie Venters.
Offensive Newcomer of the Year — Cole Chapman, Mitch Stevenson.
Defensive Newcomer of the Year — Victor Williams.
"Comeback" Player of the Year — Kevan Anderson.
Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year — Cliff Weatherford, David Brice.
Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year — Keith Brewer.
