OU wrestling falls to Wyoming



ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. – The University of Oklahoma wrestling squad fell to Wyoming, 25-13, Friday night in Arkansas City, Kan., at Cowley College.

 Three Sooners took home individual wins against the Cowboys in Cody Brewer (133), Kendric Maple (141) and Bubby Graham (165).

Brewer picked up the first win of the night in the 133-pound battle after he claimed a 16-6 major decision over Kassey Garnhart. The redshirt freshman built a 6-2 lead in the first period and carried the momentum into the second with a 13-4 advantage. With a significant lead build in the first two periods, Brewer clenched the victory in the final minutes of regulation.

Maple immediately followed with a quick 1:29 fall over McCade Ford to get the Sooners six points on the board and a 10-3 lead three bouts into the night.

Graham claimed the final bout of the match for Oklahoma with an 8-5 decision over Dakota Friesth in the 165-pound bout to secure the Sooners’ 13 points on the night.



Thunder recall three from Tulsa



OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Thunder recalled forward Perry Jones, guard Jeremy Lamb and center Daniel Orton from the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League on Friday.

Jones has appeared in two games (all starts) with the 66ers, averaging 11.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 24.5 minutes per game.

Lamb has seen action three games (three starts) with Tulsa, averaging 26.0 points (2nd in the D-League), 6.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.7 blocks in 39.7 minutes per game.

Orton has played in five games (all starts) with the 66ers, averaging 10.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.0 blocks in 31.4 minutes per game.
