Oklahoma goalkeeper Kelsey Devonshire was named the Big 12 Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday. It’s the second player of the week award in her career and the first for a Sooner this season.
Devonshire recorded her first shutout of the season with a six-save performance in Oklahoma’s upset win over No. 3 Oklahoma State on Friday. Against Oral Roberts on Sunday, she had two saves, giving her a Big 12-leading 41 saves on the season.
