TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County prosecutors have dismissed a misdemeanor assault and battery charge against Oklahoma State defensive tackle Christian Littlehead.
Court documents indicated Wednesday that the case against Littlehead was dismissed at the request of the state. Littlehead was accused of punching a woman in the face after a dispute at a birthday party in March.
The 6-foot-2, 312-pound Littlehead played in 12 games last season and started four times for the Cowboys.
