Cowgirl tabbed by Big 12

IRVING, Texas – For the second week in a row, Oklahoma State’s Brittney Martin has been named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Freshman of the Week, as chosen by a media panel, sharing the award with TCU’s Zahna Medley.

The Syracuse, Utah, native helped the Cowgirls extend their winning streak to three in a row with a 71-42 victory over No. 24 Iowa State on Sunday.

Martin recorded her third-straight double-figure scoring game with 10 points and was one of five Cowgirls in double figures. She also contributed six rebounds, four assists and four blocks in 29 minutes.
