STILLWATER – Christal Caldwell scored 21 points, including five 3-pointers, and Averee Fields added 19 to help West Virginia knock off Oklahoma State 67-61 on Tuesday night.
Caldwell added seven rebounds and six steals for the Mountaineers (12-8, 4-5 Big 12), who snapped a three-game losing streak.
Tiffany Bias and Toni Young had 15 points apiece for the Cowgirls (15-4, 4-4), but Bias committed 11 turnovers. Young extended her streak of double-figures scoring to 27 games, dating to last season.
The schools split their only two previous meetings. Tuesday’s game was their first as conference opponents.
