THE PEOPLE SPEAK — Numbers not correct

— I have read Mr. Smoot’s article in the March 3 edition and suggest that any one with a brain can see these numbers are wrong.

Say our city has 40,000 people the supermarket number would be around $3,400 per person.

The retail number would be around $17,000 per person.

Can you really agree on this or would you just write this without investigating it?

This is another instance of the city believing we are that stupid.

We are not losing nowhere near this.
