I am a worried grandfather who believes that the lack of discipline in our schools is a sorry state. When teachers have no way to discipline a child, even to the point of standing them in a corner or a swat on the bottom side, how can we not have more and more bad children?
Bring the punishment that is needed so a teacher can control their class and teach the children, not just baby-sit them.
I do not believe in harming the child, but sitting in a corner, a swat on the butt or putting their name on the board will do more good than harm. If these things do not work then the parents should be fined on a weekly basis until the child corrects their behavior.
Let’s hold together and stop pushing uneducated delinquents into society.
