Sometimes a person has to vent. Please let me have my turn.
On the late evening of Oct. 2, my son took me to Walmart to go grocery shopping. I draw SSI and am about to become a grandma. I spent $135 on groceries and $177 on last-minute baby items, food for my dogs and cats, and other miscellaneous items.
On the way home, we got gas at the Fort Gibson casino store. We decided to go in the casino with $10 apiece. When we came back out, an hour and fifteen minutes later, all of my groceries and things had been stolen from our car.
We reported it to security and had to wait an hour for the marshal, only to discover their security cameras are not clear at all. The only thing they could tell me was that it was two young men in an older black or dark-blue pickup truck.
I sincerely hope those two men choke on my month’s food supply and that my baby items get put to use. If you frequent a casino, be aware that your vehicle and its contents are not secure or safe. Don’t expect them to care what you eat for the month or if your grandbaby has everything she needs. No matter how much you spend in there or how often they see you.
