THE PEOPLE SPEAK – Use time, energy to improve city

To the ladies that are so upset about the transformer on the back side of Broadway by the mural. I’m sick and tired of all you “prima donnas” sitting around with your noses in the air, looking for something to grip about.

You need to use this time and energy to try and find ways to help improve Muskogee. We need to be more concerned about the growth of our town. We need more businesses and restaurants in here, instead of being concerned with a transformer blocking the view of a picture.

Do you want electric or a picture on a building? Get real. We need to grow up and think about importance of progress that can help our town be built into what it can be and what it should be.

Fort Smith, Arkansas is growing leaps and bounds, and look at us. Stagnant! You wonder why we go elsewhere to shop and eat. Open your eyes and think people.
