Live like it’s your last day

Our world will end Friday.

That’s according to the Mayans, who were smart enough to build some of the most elaborate structures known to man and create a perpetual calendar that is just now becoming obsolete.

The question is not be whether you believe the end of time comes shortly after midnight Mayan Standard Time on Friday.

But, maybe, you should be asking yourself what you would do if you knew for certain your days were numbered.

If you knew you had only a handful of hours left on this Earth, how would you spend them?

Would you tell those closest to you that you loved them?

Or would you stop Christmas shopping until you saw the sun rise on Friday?

Would you finally let go of the hate in your heart?

Or would you go to your grave clutching at old grievances?

Would you smile at strangers?

Would you try to make the last days of someone else happy?

So very few people get to see the end coming.

We don’t know when our time is over.

And, more importantly, we don’t know when our loved one’s time is over.

Shouldn’t we spend every day as if it might be our last?

Shouldn’t you spend every day as if it might the last day of your loved ones?

Live today and every day as if life were precious. It’s a gift to you.

How you live your life is your gift to others.
