I would like to thank Arthur Hulbert for his work, dedication, service, and sponsorship to the ministry of Living Water Ministry for Niger, Africa.
Living Water Ministry for Niger, Africa was formed in the United States by my mom from Muskogee, the late Delores Dillard in 2007. This is a non-profit organization for the purpose of teaching people how to read, provide income for their families, help with providing water for gardening, sharing the good news of Christ, and providing material and financial resources to the country of Niger, West Africa, which is one of the two poorest countries in the world.
Living Water Ministry teaches women how to provide income for their families in the form of sewing, soap making and gardening. Living Water Ministry for Niger, Africa also sponsors children to attend elementary school, fund the building of churches and provide funds for Bible students to attend evangelical Bible school.
Arthur had the opportunity in 2010 to travel to Niger, Africa and see first-hand the ministries work being done there. Not only did he witness the work, but also served as our team leader responsible for the testing of eyes and making of glasses to enable village people to see clearly for the first time. While in Africa, Arthur taught local men from Niger how to test and make eyeglasses so the work could continue after he came back to the United States.
I have known Arthur Hulbert for several years. He has been a mentor, teacher and friend to my family. He is hardworking, dedicated, honest, caring and trustworthy. It is someone exactly like him that we need to send to Oklahoma City as our next state representative in November.
