A few years ago a sheriff’s deputy rammed into my car on his way to a call. After he made sure I was safe, he admitted fault and told me the protocol for them to pay for it.
When I took the paperwork in, the Sheriff heard I was there, came out of his officer and over to me. He introduced himself and asked me if I was alright. He then shook my hand and apologized for his deputy. He took my paperwork over to a lady then walked me to the door.
He didn’t have to do all that. He showed not only character but caring, and that is why he has my vote again.
