THE PEOPLE SPEAK – We do not need more sex, violence

— I applaud CBS for discussing the dress code, it’s about time. Do the people who produce most of the televised material and movies really think we like the garbage they make? Do they think we want and need more sexually suggestive material, violence, and increased profanity in our lives? It’s no wonder to me that we have increased crime and violence in our society.

When will we make a change that will support healthy families in our society? The values of integrity, care and compassion, and the love for others would be a start.
