School has begun for Hilldale.
St. Joseph Catholic School begins today.
Fort Gibson begins Friday.
Muskogee students have just about a week left of summer vacation.
Most every other school or school district in the area has started classes.
It’s not too early to remind drivers that roads will be more congested and that lower speed limits will be in place in school zones.
It is never too early to remind drivers that some students cross roads to walk to school.
Drivers should be more patient and mindful that school has begun or will begin shortly in your area.
It also is time to challenge both students and parents to make this the most important year of your lives.
Students should realize their future begins as they enter the classroom.
Students are more likely to think school is important if their parents show a great interest.
We wish students, parents and educators a great year.
