Funeral services for Jean Hart, 65, of Gore, OK, will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday November 25, 2009 at the Gum Springs Freewill Baptist Church with Reverend James Rice and Reverend Dale Wendlandt officiating. Burial will be in Gum Springs Cemetery under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls, OK.
Mrs. Hart was born January 9, 1944 at Heavener, OK. The daughter of Clarence and Mattie (Alexander) Brown and went to be with the Lord Monday, November 23, 2009 at Fort Smith, AR.
Mrs. Hart attended school at Heavener, OK and she married Doug Hart on June 29, 1968 at Heavener. She attended Gum Springs Freewill Baptist Church and had worked at the Gum Springs Schools for 17 years and at the Methodist Boys Ranch for six years. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Doug Hart of the home, son, Rocky Hart and wife, Sherry, of Fort Smith, daughter, April Smith and husband, Jesse Wilkerson of Gore, godson, Buck Clark and wife, Mary of Gore, sister, Mary Watts of Heavener, brothers, Thomas and Ellen Brown of Wister, Bill and Marie Brown of Heavener, Henry and Betty Brown of Poteau, James and Diane Brown of Heavener, five grandchildren, Megan Smith, William Shepherd, Jerry Gossett and Tony Hart.
