Dorothy Brown, 88, died Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at her home in Muskogee. She was born September 22, 1921 to Ernest A. and Mary P. (Powell) Hetherington in Cushing, Oklahoma. Dorothy married Eldon Earl Brown on April 10, 1941 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter, Diana Lamascus of Muskogee; three sons, Dr. Ronald D. Brown and his wife, Linda, of Cookson, OK, Richard E. Brown of Antlers, OK and Jimmy A. Brown of San Francisco, CA; one sister and her husband, Alyce and Orba Condley of Tulsa; one brother and his wife, Ernest and Lawanda Hetherington of Kemp, TX; three grandchildren, David S. Fine of Tahlequah, Linda K. Stevens of Muskogee and Steve and Angela Loflin of Muskogee; eight grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2009 at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum with Chaplain Lisa Sowers officiating.
