Services for Carolyn Sue Westbrooks Reid, 67, of Muskogee are scheduled to be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 21, 2009 in the Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner, OK with the Reverend Lisa Sowers officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Muskogee.
She was born September 14, 1942 on Brooken Mountain to S. J. and Georgia Westbrooks. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 17, 2009. She was a devoted Christian and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her five grandchildren were the joy of her life.
The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
Survivors include her husband of forty-eight years, Don; two daughters and son-in-law, Sherry Dunkelberger of Broken Arrow and Susan and Lyle Mathis of Sallisaw; five grandchildren, Michael Dunkelberger and his wife Johanna, Matthew Dunkelberger, Toni, Grady and Kyle Mathis; one brother Gary Westbrooks and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Sam Westbrooks.
