Retha Jean Olive Ferguson, 87, of Muskogee, formerly of Heavener, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in Bixby, Oklahoma. Services will be today, Saturday November 14, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel, Heavener, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Hill Cemetery, at Heavener.

Retha Jean Olive Ferguson was born on August 22, 1922 in Heavener, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by both her mother and father, Dora Olive and J.P. Olive of Heavener, two brothers, both of Heavener, Clyde Olive and Buck Olive and one sister of Waldron, Arkansas, Evelyn (Midge) Crutchfield.

She is survived by her two daughters, Carol Marshall of Bixby, Oklahoma and Linda Bell of Jenks, Oklahoma, two grandsons, Barrett Bell of Jenks, Oklahoma and Craig Marshall of Lubbock, Texas. Numerous others relatives and loved ones and a host of beloved friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of St. Francis Muskogee, Oklahoma 1303 W. Broadway, Muskogee, OK 74403.

Arrangements are under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home, Heavener, Oklahoma.
